What we do
We are a research lab at the School of Pharmacy at the University of Waterloo that focuses on genetic engineering of bacteriophages to generate new therapeutic and biomanufacturing platforms. Our multi-disciplinary lab uses principles from microbiology, molecular biology, chemistry, and chemical engineering to investigate novel therapeutic platforms and applications.
Theraphage Lab & COVID-19 Research
Theraphage has worked with industry leaders and partnered with other researchers from the University of Waterloo to develop a COVID-19 vaccine that can be administered intranasally.
